I’ve really always wanted to go to England.

How close to New Orleans do you yourself live?
Like 20 minutes depending on traffic. I live in Slidell which is right over the lake from New Orleans
Sorry I keep thinking of questions! I've never had the opportunity to ask someone who actually lives in Louisiana. News and second hand accounts don't do justice. Do people still talk about the damage and condition of Louisiana a lot? Like is it a big part of the issues that are discussed there? What are people doing about it?
Not a day goes by that you don’t hear about Katrina and the recovery attempts. It is a huge issue still and will be for a very long time. They aren’t really doing anything swift about it though. The rebuilding process is a slow one but it is in progress. They blame the lack of progress on the lack of funds and all these politicians are going to jail for stealing money and its a bit ridiculous.
